HDTV en Fedora

Me compré en Amazon un receptor de HDTV para la norma ISDB-T (SBTVD) por menos de 10000 pesos chilenos. El modelo es Geniatech/MyGica SBTVD Stick S870, el que busqué puesto el chipset está soportado en Linux.
Al conectarlo a Fedora (13 y 14) es detectado automáticamente:

He tratado todas las formas posibles de búsqueda automática de canales sin éxito. La forma que empleé hasta ahora es mediante VLC y sintonizando manualmente.
Para ello debemos emplear la siguiente tabla:

Abrimos VLC y luego seleccionado la opción Abrir dispositivo de captura, cambiamos de Video for Linux 2 a DVB:
Tipo: DVB-T
Frecuencia del transpondedor/multiplex: Seleccionamos una de las antes mencionadas.
